The Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home was founded in 1928 in the heart of Poughkeepsie. Joseph J. Darrow Sr. and his wife, Pauline, were born in the city of Poughkeepsie and raised their family with the start of a funeral service tradition that still thrives today over 90 years later. Serving all faiths with a dignified service is the foundation the Darrow name has been built on.
John H. Darrow started his dedication to the family business in 1958. John H. Darrow continued his father's original vision of personal, respectful, and dignified service to all faiths.
Today, as third generation, Kayleen Darrow Rovere carries on the family tradition, with her colleague Lew Darrow. Operating on the same principals her grandfather started in 1928.
Darrow Funeral Home is Handicap accessible and proudly serves our Veterans.
