I was saddened to hear of Ron's passing. We were teammates and friends a long time ago and I will remember him as the joyful, passionate person he was. He was happy and always had a smile (or a scowl) on his face. Our paths separated after high school but I recall him (and Perry) fondly.

My sincerest condolences,

Tim Panek

So sorry to hear of ‘Money’ Monroe’s recent passing. He and Perry would come over to the Poughkeepsie YMCA for a hoop run at lunchtime back in the late 70s. Money was quite the character, always upbeat and friendly to his white brothers...lol He was a solid guy and we enjoyed our friendship. He had a good game, talking junk like we all did back then. May he Rest In Peace. My sincere condolences to his family.
