Aldeimian Sandford Woolcock (A.K.A. Alti or Little Reds) was born in Cave Valley, Hanover, Jamaica, W.I. on July 22 nd , 1935. He was excellent at caring for others and farming. He migrated to the U.S. in 1974 and began a great career in construction; both trades allowed him to provide for his loving family.
On December 10 th , 1978, Alti married his sweetheart, Beulah Wright, in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Alti passed away on April 11 th , 2020 at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend to all who knew him. He loved to cook for everyone and was great at doing so. He was energetic, stubborn and full of life and love for all. He had a good heart, a pleasant laugh and the kindest spirit. To know him was to love him.
Alti is survived by his wife, Beulah Woolcock; his sons Clive, Adrian, Edward, Richard, Jermaine, and Alti, Jr.; his daughters, Jackie, Diana, and Adiana; 28 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 4 nieces and nephews, and an amazing number of friends including Everton Hall Henriques (Jeannie & children) and Roy Jemison (A.K.A Big Reds (Dorothy)), all of whom loved him endlessly.
Alti is predeceased by his mother, Florence; his father; his brother, Albert; his sister, Ines; his daughter, Janine and many friends whose memories he continued to carry on and cherish.
Little Reds/Alti lived a full, happy life enriched with activity, love, and camaraderie with all who knew him. He was the type of man that was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and therefore, made friends everywhere that he went. Alti was extremely honest and hard working. He loved and appreciated his wife, he was a strong, solid role model as a father and grandfather, and he cared immensely for all his family members and every single one of his many friends. Alti had a wealth of love and will be dearly missed. We thank him for the 84 years of fun and fond memories that he left the world and those that are still here to remember him.
