Allen Thomas Gibbs, 59 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on April 7, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family.  Born on April 26, 1962, in Poughkeepsie, NY he was the son of Chandler Gibbs Sr. MD., and Gloria May.  Allen received his B.S. from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Class of 1984 and pursued his M.B.A. from Marist College.  He was employed at H&R Block as an Enrolled Agent.  He loved football, poker, and movies.

Survivors include his mother Gloria Gibbs, his daughter Jessica Gibbs, his sisters Karen Gibbs, and Margaret Ntegeye and brothers Chandler Gibbs Jr., W. Ernest Gibbs and Arthur Gibbs, niece Gloria Ntegeye, nephew Hakeem Gibbs and a vast extended family.  He was predeceased by his father Chandler Gibbs Sr. MD

A graveside service will be held at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery on Saturday April 23, 2022 at 11:00am.  Please meet at Funeral Home at 10:30am and we will proceed in procession to the Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Joseph J.
