Amber Bass (Fimbel), 47, of Millbrook, New York, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2026. Amber was born and raised in Millbrook, where she built a life defined by warmth, compassion, and connection. She enjoyed a successful career as a talented hairdresser at C&C Salons, where she touched on the lives of many clients and colleagues over the years. Known for her caring and loving demeanor, Amber had a natural ability to make others feel seen, valued, and at ease. Her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment were being a mother to her daughter, Madison Andros-Fimbel. The two shared a close and adventurous bond, creating countless cherished memories together. Among their favorite pastimes was fishing—simple moments that brought them peace, laughter, and lasting connection. Amber will be remembered for her kind heart, her gentle spirit, and the meaningful impact she had on everyone, fortunate enough to know her. At this time, the family will not be hosting services.
