Anthony Robert DiPompei Jr., 86, of Wappingers Falls, NY passed away at The Grand at River Valley on August 29, 2017. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 6, 1931 to the late Anthony Sr and Anna DiPompei.

On June 8, 1952 Anthony married Vivian Robinson in Poughkeepsie, NY. She predeceased him on October 19, 2016. He was an employee of IBM in East Fishkill for 30 years before retiring in 1992. He enjoyed photography, playing the saxophone, golf and Health Medical News. He was also a member of the Italian Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. and an usher at St Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls.

He is survived by his sons; Robert (Marites) and Brian DiPompei and brothers; Joseph and Vincent DiPompei.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, September 5 ^th from 4-7pm at Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home, 39 S. Hamilton St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. 845-452-1840. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 6 ^th , 10am at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY, with Entombment to follow in the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery community Mausoleum.
