Mr. Anthony O. Williams, 58, died after a courageous battle of cancer at

his home in Poughkeepsie. Born on February 1, 1959 in Poughkeepsie, NY he was the son of Frances J. Williams and the late Oscar T. Williams.

Anthony touched so many hearts with love and kindness in so many ways. His contagious smile and laugh brightened up the lives of any person who crossed his path. Family was very important to him; he always made himself available to his dear ones. Anthony was a "Jack of all Trades". He enjoyed working with his hands and was an exceptional painter. Anthony knew his way around the kitchen and loved cooking.

Anthony was predeceased by his father Oscar T. Williams in 2001, two brothers; Oscar T. Jr. and Lemon L. (Lenny) Williams and sister; Juanita (Williams) Foster. He leaves behind to cherish his many memories, his mother(Lovie), Rev. Frances J Williams, four sisters; Martha , Barbara, Phyllis, Carla ,four brothers; Marvin, Jeffery, Rodney and Shamar. His loving wife; Jeanet Scurry-Williams, at home. His children; Anthony, Donisia, Jamel ,James (JJ)and Tasha. His grandchildren; Elijah, Amari, Jamel, Nyella, Alyse, Ashanti, Treasure, and Kiana. Also surviving is Cheryl Smith of Poughkeepsie (mother of his children) and a host of many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
