Barbara Ann "Robin" Mesuda, 62 of Poughkeepsie NY, loving wife, mother of 4 daughters, a business owner, and all-around amazing women, passed away with family and friends surrounding her with love on August 19, 2023, at Vassar Brothers Hospital.  Born on August 16, 1961, in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of  Harold Houghtaling and late Barbara DeStefano.  Robin was a graduate of FD Roosevelt High School class of 1979.   Robin married her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, Martin Mesuda on October 20th, 1979, who survives at home. Robin stayed home to raise her 4 daughters, she was on the PTA, cheer coach, running all her girls in different directions and always smiled while doing it! In 2002 she opened M&M Self Storage and M&M Truck Rental with her husband, Martin. She spent the next 19 years owning and operating all her businesses and loved what she created. Robin loved seeing all her customers each day. She was loved by all, anyone who knew her, knew she always had a smile on her face and was just genuinely happy all the time. Robin spent her free time at her "Happy Place" Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She could be seen hanging by the pool or sitting on the ocean with a cocktail in hand. She was the life of the party, enjoyed dancing and having fun. Robin was also the best grandmother to her 2 grandchildren, they were her world, she wouldn't miss any functions, and would change plans to make sure she was there, being the biggest cheerleader. She loved fiercely and had a heart of gold, and her family was everything to her. Robin is  survived by her husband, Martin Mesuda; her father Harold Houghtaling;  her 3 daughters and their spouses. Melissa Mesuda-Shaw (Matt Shaw) of Poughkeepsie NY, Michelle Mesuda (Robert Spaulding) of Poughkeepsie, NY, and Megan Tompkins (Shaun) of Pleasant Valley, NY. 2 grandchildren, Gianna and Anthony Shaw of Poughkeepsie, NY and a granddaughter arriving in October.  Besides her mother she was predeceased by her daughter Melinda Mia Mesuda.   The family would like to thank Vassar Brothers Nurses and Staff for their amazing support, love, and just genuine care for their patients.
