Carl F. Riley age 65, lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie NY. Peacefully closed his eyes for eternal rest on December 30th, 2025, at Westchester Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. Carl was born on March 17th, 1960, to the late Percy Richards and the late Marion Roberts-Riley in Poughkeepsie NY. Mr. Riley attended the City of Poughkeepsie School District. Carl started working as young man at the age of 17yrs. Old employed with Dutchess Tire a well-known and Respected Business in the community, he remained working Devotedly up until his untimely passing. He Married the late Angela Session- Riley on September. 6th 2002 Happily they stayed married for 12 and half years until Angela's passing on June 10th, 2013. Carl loved spending time with his work buddies and golfing with his good friend Pat. He will always be remembered as the smiley face Tire Tech. at Dutchess Tire with the infectious laugh that kept the community safe on wheels. He truly loved the work he did, the 40 plus years he worked at his job is proof that he was devoted and dedicated to his work. He also worked a second job for a short time at Spackenkill High School. Carl leaves to cherish precious fond memories of his three stepchildren Terri Alexander, Tammy Alexander, both of Daytona FL. And Benjamin Burley of Palatka FL. Two special granddaughters Poetic Session and Mitavia Session and nine other grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Special nephew Amir Martin. Three brothers George Riley Sr. of Atlanta GA. Lee Riley and Robert Riley, both of Poughkeepsie NY. Two sisters, Janice Hurst, of Detroit Michigan and Alberta Riley of Poughkeepsie NY. Carl was Predeced in Death by his parents Percy Richards and Marion Roberts-Riley. His sisters Jean Riley -Cross and Shirley Riley. His brothers Marcelus Riley, Raymond Richards, Percy Riley and Charles Riley. Three Nephew's George Riley Jr. Jerome Cross and Jamir Jackson. Two Neices Jeormika Riley and Mariah Hyde. Stepson Tavis Session. A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday January 15, 2026 from 10am to 12 noon at Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home, 39 So. Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
