Catherine Mary Liefer-Carlton

Cathy Liefer-Carlton, 62, passed away on May 30, 2023.  Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of Franklin G. Liefer and Rita M. Kilpatrick.  She is survived by her children Daniel Carlton Jr, and Ariel Carlton.  She is predeceased by both parents and her brother Franklin G. Liefer Jr. She leaves behind her brother Michael (Patricia) Liefer AZ, Ann (Raymond Zeeh) Liefer, NY, Joyce (David) Stroms NC, Patricia Rodriguez TX, Elizabeth (Javis Woods) Cope TX, Cindy (Edward) Bergan TX and Daniel Osterhoudt Jr. NY.  Her children were her life, she was loved and cherished by many nieces and nephews.  Cathy embraced all people and many called er "Ma"," Auntie", "Grandma", and "Great Grandma".  Her friends came from all walks of life, and she treasured them.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home, Inc 39 So. Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie NY 12601.   Everything is private and at the convenience of the family.
