Catherine F. McCoy, 95, a 60 year resident of South Cherry St, Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on July 1, 2018.  She was born September 4, 1922 to the late George Stuetzle and Regina (McNerney) Stuetzle.  She married the late Thomas M. McCoy on December 12, 1948 at St. Anthony's Church, Pine Plains, NY. They were married 52 years. In the 1940's she worked at Western Printing, then became a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children; Richard Flinn and his wife Julie of Southern Pines, NC, Thomas McCoy, Timothy McCoy and his wife Annette, Mary Veltre, both of Poughkeepsie, NY, Bernadette Pikul and her husband Tracy of Highland, NY, Catherine Phillips and her husband Brad of Hyde Park, NY, Patrick McCoy, Michael McCoy and Bernard McCoy and his wife Debbie of Land O' Lakes, FL; grandchildren Paula Flinn-Herber, Richard Flinn, Vincent Veltre, Kathryn Veltre, Brian Veltre, Mary Rea,  Thomas McCoy, Quinn McCoy, Meghan McCoy, Timothy McCoy, Claire McCoy, Darren Pikul, Kevin Pikul, Lauren Pikul, Ryan Pikul, Katarina Phillips, Kaitlin Phillips, Kyle Phillips, Kristen Phillips, David McCoy, Crystal McCoy, Alicia McCoy, Michael McCoy and Madeline McCoy; great grandchildren Austin Herber and Reid Herber; siblings Alfred Stuetzle of Mountain View, CA and Margaret Anson of Poughkeepsie, NY, and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her siblings; Jerome, William and Kenneth Stuetzle, Regina Grammas and Mary Marcantonio; first husband Richard Flinn; daughter Theresa McCoy and daughter-in-law Maureen (Phelan) McCoy.

A mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, July 5, 2018, 10am at St. Mary's Church, 231 Church St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 with a burial to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
