Our beloved Charlotte (Charlie) L. Miranda (Rinaldi), of Poughkeepsie New York, passed away on January 17, 2025, at Vassar Brother's Medical Center in Poughkeepsie surrounded by her loving family. Charlotte was born on July 25, 1946, to the late Wilson and Dorothy (Lovelace) Robinson in Poughkeepsie New York. Charlotte called Poughkeepsie her home all her life and spent many years waitressing at various local diners with most of her career being spent at Dutchess Diner. She loved working with people and made an impact on each person she met. She was kind, loving, funny and cared deeply for her family. She was so proud to be a mom to her daughter Margaret Brandow, son Michael Rinaldi and son Charles Rinaldi (deceased). Charlotte married her husband, Nicolas Miranda, in 1998 in Poughkeepsie New York. She also resided with and was lovingly cared for by her niece Genesis (Gigi) Miranda and nephew Pedro Miranda. Charlotte leaves behind a brokenhearted, supportive group of friends and relatives including her husband Nicolas Miranda, Poughkeepsie New York, her children Margaret (Darryl) Brandow, Poughkeepsie New York and Michael (Lisa) J. Rinaldi, Morrisville New York, her grandchildren Brandon Le Henaff, Seattle Washington, Alec (Nicole) Brandow, Staatsburg New York, Pierce Brandow, Poughkeepsie New York, his fiancé Aleah Walsh, Washingtonville New York, Maria Rinaldi, Morrisville New York, greatgrandchildren, Jackson Brandow and Carson Brandow, Staatsburg New York, her sister Marie Irwin, Las Vegas, and she was predeceased by her sisters Alice (Joan) Merritt and Evelyn Buko. Friends may call on Thursday, January 23 from 4PM to 6PM with a prayer service beginning at 5PM at Joseph J. Darrow Funeral Home, 39 So. Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie New York. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial Donations in honor of Charlotte can be made to the American Diabetes Association .
