Cynthia M. Curry Green, 59, passed away on May 2, 2015 at home after courageously battling a long sickness. She was born on May 10, 1955 in Kingston, NY to the late George "chicken" Green and Mildred B. Green. Cynthia received her education in the city of Poughkeepsie school district. She was last employed at Hutton Nursing Home in Kingston, NY until she became ill. Cindy as she was known was an avid candle maker and loved expressing her culture by collecting lots of African items. Her beautiful black essences always showed wherever she went, and left you with a positive spirit.

Cynthia leaves to cherish her memory; her loving children; 3 sons, Levert Green, Terrell Finch (Jasmin), and Tarhene Finch (Sharema), a daughter Atiya Green (Charles), her precious angels, her 14 grandchildren, 3 sisters; Darlene Johnson, Dawn Green, and Georgette Green, a brother; Clifford Green all of Poughkeepsie, 3 god sisters; Rose Harvard, Princetta Dema, and Sherry Flowers, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, a son; Davell Melton, siblings; Daryl Green, David Green Sr. and Lisa Green.
