David Williams Jr., 72, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away September 20, 2019 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was born May 16, 1947 to the late Ernest David and Leanna Rattley Williams. He spent many years as a truck driver. On February 16, 2017 he married Cynthia Kimble-Thomas, who resides at home. He was loved by many and was adored his children.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by her children; Joseph, Ce-Quan and Tiyi; siblings Edith Conover of Trenton, NJ, Pauline Jackson of Columbus, OH and Rufus William and Larry Williams of Poughkeepsie, NY, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is predeceased by his siblings; Patricia Williams, Irene Williams, Bobby Williams and Craig Williams.
