On Tuesday, January 17, 2017 Delisha Laniece Sellers, age 24 passed away at Vassar Brothers Medical Center after a brief illness.

Delisha was born at Vassar Brothers Hospital on November 1, 1992 in Poughkeepsie, NY.  She was the beloved daughter of Dena Bellamy and Paul Sellers Jr.

Delisha graduated from Poughkeepsie High School in 2011 and was a member of Galilee Pentecostal Church.  Delisha enjoyed playing basketball, track, dancing, singing and getting tattoos with her Dad (Darran).  Delisha, known for her infectious smile, enjoyed making people laugh, shopping and her sneaker collection.

The warmth of Delisha's personality and the beauty of her smile will be forever cherished by her parents, Dena (Darran) Bellamy, of Poughkeepsie, Paul (GiGi) Sellers Jr., of Albany, NY; Brothers Paul Sellers III and Jahmy Hodges of Poughkeepsie; Sisters Shadasha, Da'Shawna, Leayrc Sellers of Poughkeepsie, and Chani Sellers of Bronx, NY; The love of her life, her precious niece, Kyara Cunningham-Sellers; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Paul Sellers, Sr., Barbara Ann Williams all of Poughkeepsie and Jacqualine Ferguson of Virginia; great grandmother, Rev. Frances J. Williams, of Poughkeepsie; uncle Damon (Senora) Sellers Sr.; aunts Nancy Sellers, Fleshia Williams, Jamie Williams, and Shant'e Bellamy of Poughkeepsie. T'Keyah (Jameg) Littlejohn Sr., of Fayetteville, NC and Shari Coston of Virginia. A host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Delisha will be dearly missed by all.

Delisha was pre deceased by her grandfather, Oscar (James) T. Williams, Jr., great-grandmother Ella Mitchell, great-grandfather, Oscar T. Williams, Sr., and great-grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Sellers.

Visitation is Thursday, January 26, 2016 10-11AM at the Beulah Baptist Church 92 Catherine St. Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
