Donald O. Anderson 82, a lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away Monday July 13, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.  He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on December 22, 1932 to the late Brack and Hattie Anderson.  Donald was educated in Poughkeepsie Schools, received his High School Diploma, was a United States Marine and served in the Korean War.   Donald worked for Vassar for many years and as a Security Guard in his retirement years.

Donald was an avid bowler and loved to watch football, his team was the "Giants" as well as watching tennis.  He was a long time fan of "Star Trek".  Donald will always be remembered for his beautiful smile.  He was a beloved brother and uncle, a kind person and a great friend.  He will be missed by many.
