Ebony Cooper, 49, of Poughkeepsie, passed away on September 11, 2020 in Poughkeepsie NY. He was born in on May 8, 1971 in Poughkeepsie, NY to Peter Cooper and Ida Davis. He graduated from Poughkeepsie High School and attended at a local college. Ebony was employed at Diamond Kutz and previously a Barber at Emerald, Empire, Newport, Nutribe, Studio Kuts and more.

Ebony enjoyed spending quality time with family, making jokes, playing chess, and had passion for cutting hair. He also studied the Nation of Islam.

Left behind his loving ex-wife, Rotanya Hargrove and three sons Tamel Hargrove, Dazjohn Cooper, and Nasir Cooper and two daughters Ebony Cooper, Emani Cooper. Grand children, Amir Cooper, Kai'an Cooper, Ka'lai Cooper, Teyani Hargrove. Siblings, Shawna Cooper, Oloye , Kelly, Tah, Shelby, Sherby, Chantilly, Nigel, Mitzi, Tangerina, Terrance and a hosts of nieces and nephews that loved him.
