"The tears we shed at a mother's passing are the first tears we cry without her." It is with great sadness that David and Denise announce the death of their mother Edmee Brideau who passed away in Rhinebeck, NY on April 19, 2016. She was 84 years old. Edmee was born in Kedgwick New Brunswick Canada to David and Leonie Thibault. She was the oldest of 8 children.

She worked in Flah's B Forman for 10 years as an Estee Lauder Counter Manager. Then, in Filene's Dept Store for 10 years as a sales associate for many depts.

She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Roland. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son David and his wife Joy. Her daughter Denise and husband Scott Swaney. 5 grandchildren; Lauren, Danielle and Adam Wagner, Scott Marsh and Tiffany Ruderfer, 2 great grandchildren; Scott and Alexandra Marsh, 2 brothers; Jean-Yves and Gilles, 2 sisters; Simmone and Marcelle all in Canada. Her brother Jacques, sisters; Lucette and Monique predeceased her.

A Memorial Service is held Saturday, April 23, 2016 11:30 AM to 1PM at the Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home, Inc., 39 South Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie, New York 12601. 845-452-1840.
