Edwin Aden Hellstrom, 68, of Hyde Park, NY passed away on August 6, 2017 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.  Born on May 7, 1949 in Poughkeepsie, NY he was the son of Henry Hellstrom and Ethel Cortright Hellstrom.  Edwin was educated in the Wappinger's Central School District.  Edwin was self employed in Poughkeepsie, NY. He enjoyed working, spending time in the outdoors and riding his 3 wheeler.

Survivors include his girlfriend; Judith Comiskey, his daughter; Bonnie Palmatier and husband Fred, step children; Tara Cole and Noel Parry, his brother; Justin Keith Hellstrom ,a sister; Nancy Elder, grandchildren; Joel (Rebecca), Devin (Kayla) & Nick Palmatier, Jessica, Blake and Zack Cole as well as  several nieces and nephews.  Edwin was predeceased by wife; Sequin Hellstrom, a girlfriend; Deborah DeClair, brothers; Richard Conner and Hank Hellstrom and grandson Aaron Cole.
