Eving W. Holsipple, 86, of Staatsburg, NY went to heavenly glory on Sept. 13, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was born at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on Jan. 7, 1929 to the late William and Flossie Holsipple.   Eving was in the US Navy serving during the Korean War from 1948-1952. On Aug. 14, 1954 he married Florence G. Krall at Faith Assembly of God Church who survives at home.

Eving worked at Smith Brothers, Boice Gage, and the NYS Dept of Transportation for 23 years.

Eving loved his gardening, worked in it almost every day.  He enjoyed photography and house painting.

Besides his wife at home he is survived by two children; Kevin Holsipple; Lorraine Casullo and  husband Joseph; siblings Chester and  wife Nell Holsipple from Rancho Cucomanga,  CA;  A. Donald Holsipple and wife Marilyn of Dunnellon, FL; a sister in law Harriett Holsipple; grandchildren Joey Casullo; Daniel Severing and wife Katrina; great grandchildren; Jack, Scarlett and Scott Severing; nieces and nephews, Andrea Attman of MA; Mark Holsipple of OH; Daryl Holsipple of Poughkeepsie, Sharon Jurist, Dawn Holsipple Girod, Melanie Holsipple Hedd all of CA.

Besides his parents, Eving was predeceased by his sister Evelyn Holsipple and brother Paul Holsipple.

Visitation will be held Friday September 18, 2015 from 10am to 12 noon at the Faith Assembly of God Church 254 Spackenkill Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.  Funeral Service will begin at 12 Noon with Pastor Edward Jones officiating.  Burial to follow at Union Cemetery, Rt. 9G Hyde Park, NY.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made in Eving's Memory to Assembly Of God Church, Building Fund, 25 Golf Club Lane, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601
