Frank J. Sherlock, 92 of Poughkeepsie, NY peacefully passed away on May 27, 2017 at home. He was born on March 10, 1925 in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late Paul Sherlock and Anna Pinter. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946, being drafted out of Poughkeepsie High School. He served in the First Wave of the Normandy Invasion.  After receiving his High School diploma, he went on to Syracuse University and studied Mechanical Engineering. Frank then became a Stock Analyst for a brokerage firm on Wall Street, Manhattan, NY.

He is survived by his sister Rosemary and her husband Ray Germano and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by brothers; Elton and Stephen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday June, 2, 2017 10am at St. Mary's Church, 231 Church St, Poughkeesie, NY. Burial to follow with Military Honors in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery, 171 Salt Point Tpke. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frank can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517. Arrangements are under the direction of Joseph J.
