Grace M. Plass a resident of Staatsburg N.Y. entered into rest on February 7, 2022, at Renaissance nursing home in Staatsburg.

She was the daughter of late Grace Shaffer and Charles Shaffer Sr. She was born April 23, 1941, in Poughkeepsie. On September 20, 1959, in St. Paul's Episcopal church in Poughkeepsie she married John J Plass Sr. Mr. Plass predeceased her on July 16, 2007. Grace was a member of American legion in Poughkeepsie. She enjoyed playing bingo and bowling on Poughkeepsie leagues. She also liked doing jigsaw puzzles. Spending time with family. Grace is survived by her four children John Plass Jr and Wife Lee from Poughkeepsie, Jeffrey Plass from Kingston April Trumbly from South Carolina and Patricia Velano and husband James Velano from Florida 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren her brother Frank Shaffer from Poughkeepsie and sister Sandra DelCotto from Staatsburg and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care of Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home Inc.
