James J. Carlon, 67 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away unexpectedly at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  Born on October 4, 1957 in Poughkeepsie, NY he was the son of James R. Carlon and Mary Jo Degroat Carlon.  James was an LPN at Dutchess Manor in Poughkeepsie for many years until retiring.  Besides his father he was predeceased by his brother Chris Carlon.

A brief visitation will be held on Monday December 30, 2024 from 9am to 9:45am at the Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home Inc.  39 So. Hamilton St. Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 (845)452-1840 and at 10am A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Church 231 Church Street, Poughkeepsie, NY with Fr.
