Jerusha Lisa Christie entered into eternal rest on March 17, 2015 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was born on May 18, 1987 to Norma Mitchell-Christie and the late Clarence Albert Christie in Jamaica W.I. She was 27 years old.

She relocated to Poughkeepsie, NY in 1996 at the age of 9. She attended school and received her G.E.D. in the Poughkeepsie City School District.

She was recently employed at Wendy's, loved to cook, and travel. She was an avid reader and a lover of music.

She is survived by her mother; Norma Mitchell-Christie of Poughkeepsie, NY, 3 sisters; Sharon Christie of Jamaica, Karen and Janet Christie of Florida, 11 brothers; Dwayne and Phillip Christie, Ian Turner all of Poughkeepsie, NY, Clarence Jr., Gary, Kanhi, and Fitzgerald Christie all of Jamaica, Clive Christie of Baltimore, MD, Desmond Christie of Nashville, TN, Terrain Christie of Switzerland, and Carl Clarke of Florida, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father; Clarence A. Christie, 2 older brothers; Hardley and Deno Christie, 1 older sister; Joy Christie, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
