"God saw that you were getting tired, so he called him home." Juan W. Black passed away on March 7, 2024, at home. Born on February 9, 1956, in Laurel Mississippi, he was the son of the late John Black and Ada Ruth Gray. Juan was baptized at an early age and attended Old Park Elementary School in Hattiesburg Mississippi. Juan moved to New York with his mother and siblings where he attended Park Elementary School and then middle school.in Ossining NY. He loved animals where he worked as a Vet, then went to Job Cole where he took up Painting and Plumbing an went on to work at the Tennis Courts in Ossining. He was a great Artist.
He leaves to cherish his memories his two sons: Juan Black Jr. and Raheem Black, 6 grandchildren, one stepdaughter Sade Bereton and longtime companion Dorothia Johnston; five brothers; Titus Black, Titus Black, John Black Christopher Gray, Lorenzo Black, Darryl Black, and sister Sheila Black and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers James Black, Edgar Black, David Black and Chester Black.
