Julio C. Perea, 81 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on Wednesday November 11, 2015 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center.  Born on November 18, 1933 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Carmen Perea.  He married Florita B. Smart-Perea who predeceased him in April of 2005.  He was employed by Vassar College for 13 years.  Julio was a proud member of AA, and was always willing to help others that were trying to get their lives back together. He also enjoyed playing music.

Julio is survived by his son Paul Perea of Poughkeepsie.  Besides his parents and wife he was predeceased by his brother Raymond Perea.
