Kay F. Geigel, 74 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away peacefully on August 26, 2023during herbrief rehab stay at the PinesNursing Rehabilitation Ccenter in Poughkeepsie. Born in Manhattan, NY on September 28, 1948 she was one of four children of the late Samuel Brown and Norma Williams. On September 17, 1984 in the Bronx, she married day Saints in Poughkeepsie. She took pleasure in her work as a nurse and enjoyed evenings out with her husband, when she wasn't spending time with her family.  .Besides her husband she is survived by her children Eric Walker of Poughkeepsie; Etheldria Johnson (Alfonso) of Poughkeepsie, NY; Carica Geigel of Poughkeepsie, NY; Heyward Walker of NY, NY; siblings Cynthia Williams of NY, NY; James Braxton of South Carolina; and predeceased by her brother Theodore "Teddy" Williams. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grand children. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 6, 2023 from 10am to 11am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 204 Spackenkill Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 1263 with a funeral services beinging at 11am.
