Keith Emery Hannah, 63, of Poughkeepsie, NY entered into heaven on October 18, 2017. Keith was born on May 26, 1954 in Poughkeepsie to Swanson Braxton (predeceased) and Joyce Hannah Braxton. He graduated from Poughkeepsie High School, graduated from Suny Albany with a BS in Science, and acquired his MBA from the University of California Berkeley.

Keith enjoyed fishing and coached the Poughkeepsie Pioneers for many years. He entered into law enforcement becoming a Correctional Officer at the Dutchess Co Sheriff Department for 26 years retiring in 2010.

To cherish his memory are 3 daughters; Raysonia , her husband Douglas Owens and her mother Monique, Benisha and her mother Benita , Talesha and her mother Deborah (predeceased).  Keith's grandchildren which was his pride, joy and life; Pierce, Donyae, I'King, and Beautiful. A brother; Darren (Linda) Braxton, other siblings, 2 nephews; Darren Jr. and Derrick, a niece; Daisia, his     best friend; Dennis Brown and a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation is 10-11AM, Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Bethel Church of God in Christ, 91 Hooker Ave Poughkeepsie, NY A Celebration of Keith's life will begin at 11AM with Superintendent Dwight Hunt officiating.
