Lance Kessell, 77 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on Tuesday June 7, 2016 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital.  Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on September 9, 1938 he was the son of the late James Blank Kessell and Geraldine Armstrong.  Lance was a resident and attended programs at Abilities First in Poughkeepsie, NY.  He loved arts and crafts, reading the newspaper and drinking his soda and coffee.

Lance is survived by his sister Dorothy Martin of Poughkeepsie, NY; brother James Kessell of FL; his nephew Edward Martin and niece Justine Raymond, and his great nephew and two great nieces.

A graveside service will be held at 11am, Friday June 10, 2016 at Wappinger's Rural Cemetery, Wappinger's Falls, NY.  with pastor Dunham Officiating.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Joseph J.
