Louis Joseph Bruno Jr., 76 of Pleasant Valley, NY passed away on August 9, 2024 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.  Born in Queens, NY on March 10, 1948 he was the son of the late Louis Joseph Bruno Sr., and Margaret Rebele Bruno.  He was employed by Con-Edison/Indian Point for 38 years retiring in 2008.  Louis served in the United States Army and was a Platoon Sgt in the F Troop 8th Cavery serving in Southeast Vietnam. He was of the Catholic faith and Jesus Christ, enjoyed garage time with his boys, spending time with family, Star Trek movies along with weaponry, fishing, U.S. History and collecting coins.

Louis is survived by his sons Louis Bruno III, Jim Bruno and wife Linda, Charles Bruno and Todd Bruno; siblings, Ronald Bruno and wife Deborah and Diane Sanfilippo and husband Guy; grandchildren Anthony, Matthew and Kaitlyn Bruno; dear friend Kerry McCarey; Lou and Jims mother Linda Bruno Farrugia and several nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents he was predeceased by Frances Fogg who was very important in our lives.
