HYDE PARK NY- LOUISE "WEEZIE" PEDERSON, 68 an area resident passed away after a long battle with cancer on June 17, 2018 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She worked at Haviland Middle School and North Park Woodcraft, and loved painting furniture, crafting, and making her famous bird jewelry. Weezie as we all called her loved being retired. She loved her grandchildren, her two sons, her family and dear friends. Louise changed all our lives forever.

Born March 8, 1950 in New Rochelle NY , she was the daughter of Pasquale DeVivo and the late Nicoletta DeVivo. Her Grandparents , were the late Louise and Riziero DeVivo of New Rochelle, and Anna and Dominick Lanno of New Rochelle. She went to Poughkeepsie High School and later married William Pederson on August 31, 1968 at St. Martins Church in Poughkeepsie NY.

She is survived by husband William Pederson; her son Billy and his wife Michelle Pederson and her grandchildren Baylee, Gianna, Savannah, and Beckham Pederson of Hyde Park NY; her son Patrick Pederson; her grandchildren Patrick Bonnano of Wappinger Falls, Aaron, Alex, and Anthony Pederson of West Palm; her brothers Pat, Ray, Donny, Bobby, and Joe Devivo of West Palm and the late David DeVivo.

Louise wished for cremation and her ashes to be kept with her sons Billy and Patrick, and granddaughter Baylee for keep sake. She will be missed by all her family, relatives, and friends. RIP Weezie Bird.
