Lynn Janeese Bowman, of Poughkeepsie NY, passed away at the age of 71 on October 17 after a long battle with cancer.  Lynn was born on November 19, 1954, to Benjamin Bowman and Izetta Johnson-Bowman in Poughkeepsie. After Lynn graduated from Poughkeepsie High School, she went on to become a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). Then she became a stay-at-home Mom.  Lynn loved music, singing, sewing, swimming, bike riding, bowling, reading, being outdoors, & traveling. Being one of Jehovah's Witnesses, her faith was the central pillar of her life. She was known for her positive spirit, friendly personality, and the deep love and respect she had for her family and friends. She was always willing to lend a helping hand.  Lynn was predeceased by Benjamin Bowman (Father), Izetta Johnson-Bowman (Mother). She is survived by her sister Regina L. Bowman, children David W. Turnquest III & (wife) Keri Turnquest, KeAnna Short & (husband) Taiwan Short; grandchildren Sassary, Saydee, Shasha, Shaleis, Khloe, Kaleb. Anyssa, Alaurya, Aeryn, and Aria. Great grandchildren Johan, Jasion, and Julius.
