Margaret F. Seifts, 89, a lifetime resident of Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away on April 1, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was born on April 8, 1927 in Barrytown, NY to the late Stephen Fallon and Estella Schafer. She graduated from Krissler Institute for Business and worked as an office manager for Prudential, retiring on 1989. On October 6, 1946, in Barrytown, NY at St. John's Evangelist Church, she married Charles H. Seifts, who predeceased her July 24, 2000. Margaret was a member of the Alter Guilds with Christ Church, avid bingo player, reader, and most of all, gardening.

Survivors include, a daughter Catherine Thomas, grandchildren; Paulette Reynosa, Pamela Reynosa, Jason Reynosa and Jennifer Reynosa, great-granddaughters; Yasmine Reynosa and Arianna Fisher, grandson; Jamir and Jayden, several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter Karol Reynosa, son Stephen Seifts, sister Muriel Reggs and a cousin Doris Valk.

Visitation is Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 5-7 at Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home Inc. 39 S. Hamilton St. Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. 845-452-1840.
