Hyde Park, NY (Formerly of Wolcott, CT) – It is with great sadness that the family of Marilyn (Mahon) Cullen announces her passing after a lengthy illness, on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at the age of 78. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond F. Cullen, married 55 years.

Mrs. Cullen is survived by her children: daughters, Robin Cullen and Terri Mae Cullen and son Raymond D. Cullen and his wife Lori. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Eric Raymond Oulundsen and Alexis Nicole Jurewicz. Her sister-in-law Nancy Hacker, as well as several nieces and nephews also survive her. She is predeceased by 1 brother and 2 sisters as well as both parents.

Marilyn was born November 22, 1941 in New Haven, a daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Hodgins) Mahon. She was a graduate of Wilbur Cross High School in New Haven. Marilyn truly loved connecting with people and was a ray of sunshine at her various places of employment throughout her life. She was retired from Shaw's Supermarket.

Marilyn was a longtime resident of Wolcott, CT and loved her home there. Throughout her life, she enjoyed trips to the shore and casino with her husband, gatherings with family and friends, her owls, and everything Irish. She loved music, especially Johnny Mathis. Her greatest joys were dancing with her husband and being "gram" to her beloved Eric and Lexie.
