Mary Jane Nameth, 81, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh, NY.  Born on November 7, 1940, in Amenia, NY she was the daughter of the late John Duncan and Marge Oviate.  Mary was a lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie, NY She worked for IBM for 40 years and had just retired this year.  She loved animals and country music.  Mary is survived by her husband Leslie "Les" G. Nameth, Sr., her two sons Les G. Nameth Jr, and Louis J. Nameth Sr., daughter in law Jeannine Schade.  She was a wonderful grandmother to six grandchildren, Brittney, Kayla, Louis Jr, Josh, Matthew, and Justin: 7 great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews; her brothers and sisters: Betty, Susie, Butch, Jeppy and Jackie.  She is very loved and will be deeply missed.  A Memorial gathering will be held on Thursday October 27, 2022, from 7pm to 8pm at the Joseph J.
