In Loving Memory of Myrna James Baker August 1, 1975 – May 2026 “Those we love never truly leave us; their light continues to shine in the lives they touched, guiding us forward with hope and grace.” With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Myrna James Baker, who entered eternal rest in May 23, 2026. Born on August 1, 1975, in Banana Ground, Manchester, Jamaica, Myrna was the epitome of strength. She was known for always speaking her mind with courage, and she faced life’s challenges with determination and resilience. A truly fearless woman, Myrna fought bravely until her very last breath.  Myrna was a dedicated caregiver whose nurturing spirit touched many lives. Above all, she was a devoted mother whose greatest joy and deepest love were her sons. She cherished every moment spent with them and worked tirelessly to provide for, support, and encourage them. Her love for her children was unwavering, and they remained at the center of her heart throughout her life.She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her devoted husband, Christopher; her beloved sons, Antwone “AJ” and Stephano “Niko” ; her mother; her sisters and brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.  She was preceded in death by her father and brother. Though they welcomed her with open arms into eternal glory, her absence leaves an immeasurable Visitation will be held on Sunday June 7, 2026 from 2pm to 3pm at the Temple of Praise Church of God, 20 Mill Street, Newburgh, NY 12550.
