Nancy G. Rifenburgh, 76, of Hyde Park passed away suddenly at Northern Dutchess Hospital on Wednesday October 12 ^, 2016.  She was born on June 29 ^, 1940 in Poughkeepsie to the late George and Elsie Hampe.  Nancy attended Poughkeepsie High School.  She was the Manager of Lindt Chocolate for many years.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her husband Preston Rifenburgh, brother Richard Hampe and daughter Holly Silvestri.

Survivors include her daughter Lori (Joseph) Olinger of Arkansas, grandchildren David Silvestri of Poughkeepsie, Gabriel and Madison Olinger of Arkansas and son in-law Justin Janukajtis of Poughkeepsie. A remembrance of Nancy's life will be held at the family's home on Monday, October 17, 2016.  A private family funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
