Randolph "Randy" Tompkins, 71 of Wappingers Falls, NY passed away on May 31, 2024.  Born in Peekskill, NY on September 22, 1952 he was the son of the late Charles and Helene Ann (Wiener) Tompkins.  He graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School in 1971 and went on to obtain an Associated Degree in Criminal Justice.  Randy was of the Catholic Faith.  He was self-employed where he owned and operated many businesses over his time living in Dutchess County, from developing construction projects like the Pavilion, in Wappingers Falls, The Villas in LaGrange and Continental Manor in New Windsor.  He owned a few food establishments including Overstuffed Donuts, Bagel Buddy's and Bryers Ice Cream.

Randy was a huge outdoorsman, taking walks in the woods, hunting and fishing all around the world, and family hunts where he got to share his wisdom and knowledge of the woods.  He enjoyed watching the New York Yankees games with his family, keeping the tradition he got from his father.  Randy was a coach for many School sports teams including Arlington Middle School Wrestling, Our Lady of Lourdes JV Baseball and Town of LaGrange Baseball.

Randy is survived by his significant other Tonia Lee; children Shaun Tompkins (Megan) of Pleasant Valley, NY; and Dakota Lee of Wappingers Falls, NY; his siblings Carla Karamas (Ted) and Lawrence Tompkins; his granddaughter Emily Tompkins of Wappingers falls, NY and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
