Rejean Earnest Joseph Fauteux, 61, of Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019. He was born June 12, 1957 in Coaticook, Canada to the late Roger Fauteux and Raymonde Roy. He was an outstanding drywaller for many years as well as a well known mechanic. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, being outside and anything fast and loud. But his true passion was spending time with friends, family and especially his grandkids.

He is survived by his former companion Sandra Dodge and their children; Travis Fauteux of Hyde Park and Ashley Fauteux and Jeffrey Dunlop of Poughkeepsie;  Shannon Fauteux of Staatsburg; grandchildren Andrea, Taylor and Michael Fauteux and Lloyd and Alonnah Bishop; great-grandchildren Mason Hernandez and McKenna Perotta; siblings Gerald (Laurel) Fauteux of Ladison, SC, Luc Fauteux of Freedom, NH, Linda (Jimmy) Stewart of Addison, VT and many aunts, uncles, cousins nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Michael Dodge.
