Richard Grisby, 81 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on February 5, 2022, at the Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley.  He was born on February 22, 1940, in Orlando Florida.  He graduated High School in Florida and Dutchess Community College here in Poughkeepsie.  He was employed at King Richards Hair Salon in Poughkeepsie, NY for 51 years.

Survivors include Richard Frazier, Quanta Elliott, and Joyce Greene all of Poughkeepsie; 15 grandchildren, Jailisa, Ty'Airie, Sha'Ne, Infinite, Ma'Leec, Jah'Nya, Yah'Shaun, Chynna, Ny'gel, Syphony, Jaylen La'quan, Keyanna, Quaneek and Quanell.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 16, 2022, from 11am to 12pm at Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home, Inc. 39 So. Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601, going home service begins at 12pm.  Burial will be Private and at the convenience of the family.
