Robert F Brunell, loving husband, father, and grandfather "Poppy" passed away at home Sunday March 18, 2018, he was 55.

Born May 12, 1962, he was the son of the late Robert and Ellen Brunell. In 1988, Robert became proud member of the Local 137 International Union of Operating Engineers for which he worked until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed nothing more then spending time with his wife, family, and Dodge Truck. He was a lifelong member of the Green Haven Rod & Gun Club.

Robert leaves to cherish his loving memory, his beloved wife April M. Brunell. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Robert, Mikey, Donnie, and daughters, Amanda, Christine, and June. He also leaves behind many grandchildren to which he adored very much.

Calling hours will be held on Monday March 26 ^th from 10:30 – 12:30 at Joseph J Darrow Sr Funeral Home, 39 S Hamilton St. Poughkeepsie . Burial is to follow at St. Joachim's Cemetery, Beacon. The family would like to invite friends to celebrate his life at West Clinton Firehouse, 219 Hollow Rd, Staatsburg .
