Ronald Lee Bowman, 74 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh, NY.  Born on January 31, 1950, in Poughkeepsie, NY he was the son of the late Eugene Bowman and Eveyln Elem. He was educated in the City of Poughkeepsie School System and worked at the Mid-Hudson Workshop from 1970-1987.  After retirement his passion was to work on everyone's cars in the neighborhood.  Ronald loved hunting especially during deer season, loved fishing and visiting any lake to catch the biggest fish.  Ronald enjoyed being with family and friends.  He had a love and passion for food especially on a B-B-Q Day.  Ronald was a loving and caring man. He was a Jehovah witness that loved and cherished his religion and always put Jehovah first no matter the situation.

He is survived his sons Ronald Lee Bowman Jr. of Ottawa Canada and Joshua Lee Bowman of Poughkeepsie, NY, sisters Renee Carlton and Gina Bowman; brother Jay Richardson (Jackie), grandchildren, Iris Bradley, Ariana Robinson, Martina Robinson, Martin Robinson, Emonie Peart Jayden Bowman, Josiah Bowman, Isabella Bowman and Layla Bowman, 9 Great Grandchildren.  great nieces and nephews he loved dearly, he is also survived by several aunts, uncles and many cousins' and Bill Mosley, a great friend and family.  Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Douglas Herring.
