Rupert Dyer, 74 passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at his home in Poughkeepsie, New York.   Born in 1946 in Leicesterfield, Clarendon in Jamaica, he was the beloved son of the late Ernestine Smith and James Dyer.  Rupert enjoyed farming and could be found in his garden across the river during the summertime.  He loved helping others and would share produce from his garden with everyone.

Rupert is survived by daughter Leisa Dyer, three grandchildren, one great-grandson, three brothers, one sister, and a host of other relatives and friends, especially Evadney and Janet to whom he called his family in Poughkeepsie.
