Rupert George Roberts, 84 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on July 14, 2021, at the Grand at River Valley.  He was born in Kingston Jamaica on July 29, 1936.  Rupert attended St. Michaels Primary and Gaynestead High School.  His passion for printing to him to the government printing office in Kingston, Jamaica, where he worked for many years until he migrated to the USA in 1970.  He worked in several printeries in Manhattan until he established his own printery, Atlas Printers on the lower west side of Manhattan, where he worked until his retirement.  Apart from printing his other passion was cooking many different dishes.  Lasagna was his favorite he also like going to the Casinos and the concerts at the Conference Center in Atlantic City.  On December 10, 2002 he married Sandra Hoyes in Manhattan, NY.  He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Sandra and his step kids and step grandkids.
