Reverend Sonia Elizabeth Taylor-Brown, 56, of LaGrangeville, NY, passed away suddenly in her home on March 30, 2016. She was born in Richmond Saint Mary, Jamaica, WI, November 24, 1959 to the late Hubert Taylor and Enid Rankine-Taylor.

She received her degree in Theology, and then joined Church of God in Jamaica as their Pastor.

She is survived by her two sons; Ricardo Brown and Germaine Brown, adopted daughter; Cameal Hanson,  Six grandchildren, two brothers; Everald and Carlton, four sisters; Clair Morris, Georgette Taylor, Diana McMillan, and Marion Jahalal, and a host of church family and friends.

Visitation will be held April 13, 2016 from 4-8pm at Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home, 39 So. Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. 845-452-1840. Visitation will also be held April 14, 2016 from 10-11am at Beulah Baptist Church, 92 Catherine Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601, funeral service to begin at 11am.  Burial to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
