Thelma E. Gordon, 85 Of Hyde Park, NY passed away on Sunday September 10, 2023, at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie.  Born in Kingston Jamaica on December 19, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Roy and Ella Louise Barnes.  Thelma enjoyed home decorating, travelling, cooking, gardening and sowing.

She is survived by her brother Daniel Barnes (Josette Ricketts) of Georgia, sisters Pearl Barnes and Beverly Barnes both of Jamaica, grandnieces Angela Lindsay, Danielle Bloomfield, Marcia Thompson, Marlene Thompson and grand nephews, Damain Barnes, Marlon Morgan, Trevor Smith, Kenneth Thompson and Vincent Thompson.  She was predeceased by her parents, husband and sister Joyce Barnes and brothers Jon Roy and Vincent Thompson.
