Thomas Francis Carmelitano, 59 better known as "Tim" passed away on October 1, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center with his family by his side.  Born in Beacon, NY on June 13, 1955 he was the son of late Mike and Joan Carmelitano.  Tim was an avid NY Yankee fan and dog lover. Tim had many passions which included working on all types of automobiles, traveling  and he loved to make people laugh  Tim is survived by his long time girlfriend Barbara; son Joseph Michael Carmelitano;  daughter Melissa Carmelitano; sisters Joanne, Cindy, Jeanette, Michele and Mary; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews of all who had a special bond. 2 great nephews, 2 great nieces.

There will be no calling hours.  A memorial service will be held Monday October 6, 2014 at 11:00 at Our Lady of the Rosary, Hyde Park, NY 12538.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Joseph J.
