Vincent Michael Adinolfi Jr, 78 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away peacefully at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, with his loving wife Paula by his side. Vincent was born in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, NY on July 28, 1947, to the late Vincent Michael Adinolfi Sr. and Mary Condon. He was educated and graduated from Fort Hamilton High School. He had a little brother Dennis Adinolfi who with his parents preceded him in death. Vinny was a Vietnam Veteran that served in the Army from October 1966 to July 4, 1968. He is honored as a Corporal earning medals of exemplary performance during his service. Vincent spent his entire life giving back. He worked as a Credential Alcohol Substance abuse counselor touching and making dozens of lives better with his commitment. He worked at the Cornerstone in Rhinebeck for 24 years. He was loved by many. He leaves to mourn, his wife Paula A. Adinolfi, two sons Michael and Marcus and 5 grandsons Navaj, Elias, Noah, Leonidas Vincent and Maximus. His sister-in-law Elaine, brothers-in-law John and David; dearest friends Susan, Agatha, Rod and a host of others who had the opportunity to grace his presence. He will be missed incredibly because of who he was and all the lives he touched. A man of few words yet his presence spoke volumes.
Visitation will be held on Monday July 27, 2026, from 10am to 11am at the Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home, Inc, 39 So. Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. (845)452-1840. Catholic prayer service to begin at 11am with Fr. Perez from St. Mary’s Church officiating. Burial to follow with Military Honors at Wappingers Rural Cemetery.
