Violet P. Williams, 87, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center on Oct. 6, 2015. She was born in Fishkill, NY on Jan. 11, 1928 and volunteered at the lunch box for many years which she loved to do. She was a warmhearted woman who loved life, was full of life, loved to play with children, her great nieces and great nephews. Violet loved animals, her family and friends, she will be missed dearly.

Survivors include nieces; Arlene Louis, Barbara Davis, Shirley Lasher, Judy Veach, and Joann Miller, many great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers; James W. Williams, Amos Williams, and George Williams.
