Willard C. Place, 67 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away April 4, 2022, at home with his loving family by his side.  He was born on March 20, 1955, in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late George H. Place and Della Palmatier.   He received his associate degree in arts, enjoyed Harley's, family, fishing, and hunting. Together 22 years and on March 7, 2015, in Poughkeepsie, NY he married Geraldine Jones who survives at home.  He was employed in carpentry at B & J Home Improvements for 20 years.

Besides his wife, he's survived by his children; Reggie, Della, Amanda, Laura, Rebecca and Summer, grandchildren; Michael, Ryan, Russ, Danielle, Tayna, Haydne, Anallia, Kaisley, Hayleigh, Jaylen, Diamond, Nico, KyJhaun and baby Drummond, sisters; Carol Bell, Margaret Jones, and Maryellen Jones, brothers; Richard Jones and James Jones, his nephew Danny, several greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and adopted family.
